Candice Bergin stars in her first TV series as journalist Murphy Brown
in this award winning show. The terrific ensemble cast included
Grant Shaud as Miles Silverberg, Murphy's long suffering Producer,
Faith Ford as the typical dumb blonde reporter, Corky Sherwood, Joe
Regalbuto as reporter Frank Fontana, Murphy's best friend, Charles
Kimbrough as Jim Dial, Murphy's stiff co-anchor and the late Robert
Pastorelli as Eldin Berneckey, Murphy's home remodeling contractor
(and pseudo family)
who's work was never ending. While the show centered around
Murphy, Candice Bergin was confident and smart enough to allow
her cast mates to "star" in many of the episodes which made this
series special and so unforgettable. |
