Rowan & Martin's
Laugh-In was THE show to watch on Monday nights. It was what you would
call a water cooler show. Everyone talked about the show and the
catch phrases it spawned like "You bet you sweet bippy" and "Sock it
to me". It also introduced the world to a giggly Goldie Hawn who went
on to win an Oscar for her screen work. Other fabulous regulars were
Lily Tomlin, Ruth Buzzie, Arte Johnson, Joann Worley and many more.
Everyone wanted to guest star on the show. The show may seem a little
dated but the ride was fabulously zany while it lasted. |
